Though it's perfectly fine if your baby sleeps in another room, moms can still get pretty anxious and would feel the need to check on their little one from time to time throughout the night. In instances like this, a baby monitor can be most helpful — except when it shows you supernatural things in the middle of the night.
Mom Maritza Elizabeth was left spooked after she spotted what looked lke a "ghost baby" in her son's crib on October 17, 2019.
On her Facebook post, the mom shared pictures from a baby monitor, showing her son, Lincoln soundly asleep beside what appears to be a paranormal presence in the form of an infant. "Last night, I was positive there was a ghost baby in the bed with my son," she wrote.

According to her post, she was so freaked out that she "barely slept," and tried to sneak into the room with a flashlight to see where the creepy kid was coming from. When she investigated in the morning, Elizabeth discovered that the spooky specter was actually just a photo of a baby on her son's mattress, which her husband forgot to cover with a mattress protector when he changed the sheets.
"I could kill him," Elizabeth wrote with a couple of laughing emjojis.
