Another year of homeschooling is no joke. But maybe “Teacher AG” can change your mind.
In her newest vlog which has earned 2.4 million views in just two days, Alex Gonzaga visits the Team Kramer household and spends a day as a teacher to Kendra, Scarlett, and Gavin. Jokes from Teacher AG come so thick and fast that you’d almost forget that she has a bachelor’s degree in education, major in child development, from the University of Asia and the Pacific. No wonder she gets along famously with her three students.
What brings more smiles to netizens’ faces is how well-mannered the Kramer siblings are. One viewer observes that “the kids are so respectful and cooperative. Their parents must’ve really raised them very well.”
Another one describes the Kramer kids: “Kendra is mature for her age, Gavin is naughty [and] adorable, and Scarlett is so sweet, holding AG’s hand.”
“The Kramer parents [have] raised their kids so well,” a viewer writes in the comments section. “They’re obviously smart and respectful kids.”
Teaching kids good manners can start as early as two years old, says Pia Pulido, a former preschool teacher with a master’s degree in psychology. It’s never too early to start as long as they’re already interacting with other kids.
An-Marie Bartolome-Villarin, managing director of The Little Gym’s Terrific Tots Preschool Program, adds: “Having good manners is one of the basic foundations of building relationships. It boils down to having respect and consideration for others.”
You can see in Alex’s vlog that the Kramer kids are such troupers and know pakikisama. Another viewer notes, “These kids are beautiful inside and out. I really enjoy watching [this video] dahil nakikisabay din talaga yung mga bata sa trip ni Alex...” And this viewer agrees: “They don't let their visitors feel out of place... Especially Gavin, he’s very friendly.”
Teacher AG gets a thumbs-up, too, from one of her viewers: “I am an elementary education student and I really admire teachers who are humorous yet their students are learning from them.”
The aspiring teacher gives Doug and Cheska an A for parenting after highlighting “the part where Ate Alex asked the kids about their memory verse”: Each one recites their favorite Bible verse flawlessly. “A big clap for Mr. and Mrs. Kramer for raising the three kids very well.”
And a big pat on the back, too, for all homeschooling parents.
