A teenager with Down syndrome stole the show at a California wedding when he challenged the groom to a dance battle on August 25, 2019.
Sam Ferrell, 15, went head-to-head with groom Nick Serrato in the dance-off during the wedding’s reception at Ethereal Gardens in Escondido.
Footage by Sam’s parents, Matt and Lindsey Ferrell, shows the teen throwing some impressive shapes to Young MC’s Bust a Move, while Nick tries to compete.

According to a Facebook post by Sam’s dad, Nick’s wife Tori – a family friend – asked the teen to be a part of their wedding. “Sam didn’t beat Nick to win Tori’s heart but he did declare himself the dance battle winner,” Matt Ferrell joked in the post.
