Now that gadgets have become such a huge part of daily life, especially for kids, it can be very difficult for parents to check on how much time their little ones spend online. One way to make the most of this, however, is to ensure that the content your child has access to is both entertaining and educational — just like the app Epic!.
Epic! is a digital library of books, videos, quizzes, and more catered for children ages 12 and below. It was designed by parents who wanted to give kids more access to books, leading to them engaging in an ‘epic’ reading experience.

The library includes everything from picture books, chapter books, and graphic novels to educational books, audiobooks, and videos.
The books may be downloaded for offline reading, so even without an internet connection, your child can continue reading. Epic! also offers personalized recommendations for each child based on his or her reading level and interests.

According to the Epic! website, the app is used in more than 90% of elementary schools in the United States.
The Epic! app is available for a fee of $7.99 (P409.02) per month. You may try the free 30-day trial to find out if it’s worth the purchase for you. Each account can include up to four individual child profiles.
Note, however, that though Epic! can be a great tool to foster a love of reading in your child, nothing beats letting him read physical books at home, so it's always a great idea to include books in his daily routine.
