Most kids dread doctor’s visits because of the possibility of getting injections. While experts have various tips to make the experience less stressful and painful — kids need at least 13 vaccines for children from birth to 18 years old, after all — this 5-year-old’s adorable way of getting over his fear of shots might be worth copying, too!
Raven Skye Matias recently went viral when a video of him singing “I Love You, Baby” by Frank Sinatra while getting anti-rabies shots was uploaded on Facebook. According to a report by GMA News, Raven’s mother, Rosalinda Matias said that it become her son’s coping mechanism, which he got from social media.
In an interview with Summit Media, his guardian, Marie Cris Crame shares, “Sinasabihan rin po namin kapag nagpapa-inject po siya na huwag matakot. Kung matatakot man, idaan na lang din sa kanta.”
His video, uploaded over a month ago, has already gotten over 6.4 million views. Netizens found his trick to become less afraid of shots endearing. His reaction after he got the injection was pretty priceless, too!
