This Hollywood Celeb Mom Made a DIY Menu for Picky Eaters and You Can Copy It!John Legend's wife turned to her creative side to get their toddler to eatby Lei Dimarucut-Sison .
If there's one thing we've learned about raising toddlers, it's that it involves a lot of creativity...often from a parent who is frustrated or at wit's end. To catch the little ones' interest, keep them engaged, or get them to do anything, you sometimes need to bend your rules and play your toddler's game--no, a simple "Please" just won't cut it at this phase. Thankfully, some of us parents come into battle with a plan.
There's this thirty-five year-old mom who decided she won't be forced to buy absurdly-expensive doll houses so she made her own. This home-based baker took her creations a notch higher and put together a toy chest out of recycled materials to keep her child's toys (and her sanity) in order.
And then there's Hollywood celebrity mom Chrissy Teigen, wife to Grammy Award winner John Legend, who, rather than fight her daughter Luna over the little one's limited choice of food, had a 'Eureka' moment and solved the problem for us moms with picky eaters.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
"I always came from the mindset of "eat what we serve or go to bed hungry" but I'm officially owned by my toddler, struggling to make a *dinner* luna likes aside from spaghetti and fish sticks.... any ideas welcome!!," the mom of two wrote on Twitter the other day. Apparently, all the little one wants to eat is pasta and fish fries. All of us could relate!ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Her brilliant solution? A kids' menu she D-I-Yed out of paper, laminating plastic, and photos of food she took herself.
"I'm spending my days making a menu, cooking and plating every meal and taking pics so my DARLING ANGEL will eat something[.] WHO HAVE I BECOME...I just love projects.
