Are you done with your child’s first day of school? Raise your hand if you have tons of photos documenting their return to school for this academic year. Let's admit it, that traffic and chaos on the first day of school were partly due to parents attempting to capture a shot of their kids posing in front of the school logo or banner, or recording them on video as they walked to their classrooms.
In the Facebook group, Smart Parenting Village, mothers share their back-to-school photos and experiences, and we have selected the ones that most moms can relate to.
Needless to say, whether your child was confident, calm, or anxious, everyone deserves a hug and a pat on the back for surviving the first day of this school year. Now, let's brace ourselves for the remaining 200+ days.
Kal Buenaflor-Aguba: "Strong and independent girl. But hindi pwede ma-late sa pagsundo sa kanya because she gets anxious dahil nagiging mas maiksi ang oras niya to play after class."
Aya Mish: "Hindi umiyak kahit iwan siya noong first day of school. Umiyak dahil uwian na!"
Christy Malabanan - Pineda: "First day palang, takot na siya makuhanan ng baon!"
Nica Lomugdang-Dionisio: "Excited sa first day. Ayaw na pumasok sa second day!"
Chloe Ëunice: "First F2F class niya. I’m not sure if I feel proud or sad that she grew up."
Daniela Airies: "Excited pumasok sa first day of school.
Sarah Gjeanne: "Walang iyakan na ganap for both of my kids kapag first day of school. Mas naiyak pa ang mommy. We condition their minds before going to school. We say that school is fun and they will meet new friends.
Eh first time pa lang nila magkita at magkakilala."
Gian Guades: "It was bittersweet! He demonstrated his independence on the first day. He didn’t need me to accompany him inside the classroom, and just waved goodbye! I’m very proud and excited to hear his stories."
Erin Erin: "Wala pa kaming uniform so porma muna si kiddo. He’s super excited to attend his new school because hindi na daw siya baby."
