Puwede Tumawag At Mag-Text Anytime: Kylie Padilla's Trick To Co-Parenting Is Open Communication

Kylie Padilla is happy to share that her two sons, Alas Joaquin (6 years old) and Axl Romeo (3 and a half years old) are doing well. At the recent #GMAGalaNight, Smart Parenting caught up with the actress and mother of two to ask her tips on co-parenting. She said communication is important.

“Siguro we’re very lucky, me and AJ, pag dating sa aspeto na 'yun. Talagang we are open to make it work talaga. I mean, siguro may rough patches in the beginning, pero in the end, we prioritized yung well-being ng mga bata.

Kylie also said that even though they are separated, their communication lines are open 24/7, because of the kids, “Open yung connections namin, pwede siyang [Aljur] tumawag, mag-text anytime, same din ako sa kanya. And we’re just open about how the kids are.

She said Alas and Axl are "better". She proudly shared with a smile on her face, “They are better now. Siyempre, may pinagdaanan din kami. But now they’re good, they’re happy.

Kylie recently flew to Japan with both her sons, and making some fun memories at Universal Studios, Disney Sea Tokyo and Tokyo Disneyland. She wrote in her Instagram, “It wasn’t easy taking two kiddos under 6 abroad with no help but that’s exactly what I wanted.”

Don't be too hard on yourself

She also had this to say to women who are going through difficulties, "I think what I have to say is, don’t be too hard on yourself, especially when you’re going through something like that.

Kylie's breakup and the events that ensued were highly publicized, but it seems she is now at a better place.

“Iba kasi 'yung social media. Lahat tayo online, the technology is so prevalent now. Pero minsan nakakalimutan natin pag-usapan yung mga bagay na yun. I mean, natatakot pa din tayong maging honest.

She adds, "So, after what I went through, alam naman ng lahat kung anong nangyari. I felt like marami akong pwedeng i-share so it’s a way for me to be helpful and useful through what I went through.”

In July 2021, Robin Padilla confirmed that his daughter Kylie and husband Aljur Abrenica separated, and a third party was involved. On Valentine’s Day this year, Aljur posted a photo of him and AJ Raval, confirming their relationship.

Amid all these, Kylie remained ‘cool’ about it and even said that she is truly happy for Aljur and AJ.
