Dampot Lang Nang Dampot? Pokwang Shares Husband Lee O'Brian's Funny Grocery Shopping Story

Since only one member of the household is allowed to leave the house while the country is under enhanced community quarantine, many husbands, wanting to protect their wives, are now sallying forth to the grocery.

For Pokwang's household, it is husband Lee O'Brian in charge. On Tuesday, May 5, in an Instagram post, the comedienne talked about her husband's recent trip to the supermarket. Part of Lee's grocery list included beets and apple guava.

Pokwang uploaded a photo and wrote, "Haaayyyyy yan na nga ang problema kapag si daddy ANG namili hahahaha ang mahal tapos lokbu [bulok] ha......

"basta kasi dampot Lang e kahit May listahan wiz naman marunong kumilatis hahahahaa #beets #appleguava ngek... ngek, ngeeekkk....[emojis]"

Many of her Instagram followers, clearly able to relate to her story, began filling the comments section of her post with their own experiences.

One Instagram user said she asked her husband to buy molo wrappers, which he did. But he bought the wrappers even if these already had traces of mold.

She wrote, "Can relate mamang...si hubby pinabili ko molo wrapper ng tingnan ko nag mo mold na eh tiningnan daw nya expiration date eh sept. 2020 pa... Gnun? Yun ang basis nya hindi yung itsura?"

Another Instagram user said that her husband never sticks to the grocery list.

She wrote, "Same po tayo na. Pokwang mahal na konti pa at bulok pa, minsan near na sa expiration .. sobra pa sa mga nakalista ung binibili ung hindi kailangan [laughing emoji]."

They have a two-year-old daughter Malia.

Pokwang's eldest daughter from an earlier relationship, Ria Mae Subong, is 21 years old.
