  • In the latest vlog of actress Angelica Panganiban and her non-showbiz partner Gregg Homan, they revealed the gender of their first baby.

Netizens are loving their simple gender reveal vlog, which started with a visit to an ultrasound clinic, where they will first learn about their baby's sex.

"Iba itong sex reveal na ito. Sobrang genuine yung reaction. Simple pero tagos sa puso," one commenter said.

When asked what her partner Gregg wants their baby's gender to be, he said, "I want it to be a girl, but if it's a boy, I'll be just as happy." Regardless, Gregg hopes their baby will be healthy.

In their previous vlog, Gregg said Angelica has been "sobrang arte," that's why he thinks she's having a baby girl.

Their baby, who was 18 weeks and 2 days at the time, was being shy during the check-up, giving a bit of suspense.

Wais tips para makatipid sa pagbubuntis

Angelica shared a tip for her fellow moms-to-be.

"Gumawa ng vlog para makatipid sa pagbubuntis," she said.

She addressed her baby, "Itong vlog ang pambayad namin sa panganganak eh. Anak ito yung pinambayad namin sa panganganak mo. Itong vlog na ito."

Ninang Glaiza adds, "Tandaan mo kung paano kami kumikita, kumikilos at gumagalaw para sayo."

Here are other tips to save on birthing costs:

    1. Avail of prenatal care at health centers

If you haven't been to your local health center, maybe it's time to check what services they are offering. You may avail free prenatal check-ups, and later on, free vaccines for your child.

    2. You don't need a 4D ultrasound

Some doctors don't recommend this, as 4D ultrasound results are merely for souvenir purposes only. The money you'll spend to see the facial features of your child, which may cost around P4000 and up, you can use it to buy newborn essentials instead.

    3. Check your preferred hospital for maternity packages.

Single mom Mary Alusin says this is the best way to save money for your delivery. "The package usually covers the professional fee of an OB-Gyn, prenatal care visits, fees of labor and delivery rooms, 3-day stay at the OB ward, and a list of medical supplies needed during the whole admission," Mary said.

    4. Join support groups for parents

For more wais tips just like Angelica shared, you can join support groups like the Smart Parenting Village, where you can ask moms and dads on how they were able to save on birthing expenses.
