Angeline’s family
Angeline and Nonrev got married on April 25 in a Filipino-themed ceremony at the Quiapo Church. The couple have been in a relationship since 2020 and welcomed their first child, Sylvio in April 2022.
Angeline announced her first pregnancy in an exclusive interview on Boy Abunda’s YouTube channel on December 10, 2021. At the time, she shared snippets of her pregnancy on her vlog, where she said, “Sobrang sensitive ako ngayon. Ewan ko para akong nababaliw minsan.” She also shared her anxieties as a first-time mom and how she drew strength from the memory of her Mama Bob, “Napalaki naman ako nang maayos ng Mama Bob so, ako I’m sure na magiging mabuting nanay din ako sa magiging anak ko.”
Angeline documented her birthing experience when she gave birth to Sylvio via cesarean section. She shared at the time, “Medyo nahihirapan si baby bumaba kasi medyo matagal na. So, pinutok na ni doc[tor] yung panubigan ko at hanggang ngayon kailangan natin maghintay hanggang sa mas bumaba si baby. Konting tiis na lang.”
She also revealed why they ultimately decided to go for a C-section, “According to my doctor, nakatagilid ulo ni baby kaya nahihirapan ako mag-normal birth kaya nag-decide kami na mag-cesarean section.”
Angeline later shared a photo of herself and her first baby, with the caption, “Motherhood UNLOCKED.”
The Piliin Mo Ang Pilipinas trend is the Filipinos’ version of the trending Asoka makeup trend. Other Filipino content creators who joined the trend include actress and vlogger Ivana Alawi, who portrayed Maria Clara, and content creator Shaha Meta, who showcased Mindanao’s culture and colors.
