Anne Clutz Welcomes Baby #3 Jirou Who Has Cleft Palate, 'Marami Pa Pala Kaming Matututunan'

Makeup guru and content creator Joanne Clutario aka Anne Clutz has given birth to her third baby, Franc Jirou!

On September 8, she shared on social media a photo of her feeding her newborn son, whom she earlier announced as having a cleft palate, just like her second child, Joo.

While she already expected that, she revealed in her blog two months ago that she cannot believe the findings that baby Jirou might also have Down Syndrome. "Siguro tanggapin nalang namin na ito yung bagong journey namin as early as now ma-prepare namin yung sarili namin, pero sana mali lang yung ultrasound," she said.

Nevertheless, the new mom of three is happy that her baby is strong and healthy. "Maraming salamat po sa mga dasal niyo," she said.

Anne first announced that they are expecting their third baby early this year.

Thankful to husband

On her Instagram stories, she shared how she and her husband Kitz Clutario struggled during baby Jirou's first 24 hours.

In one video she revealed, "Nagamit namin yung Medela, yung special [needs] feeder, alam niyo na yung severity pag nagamit namin yan." She also shared a glimpse of her son.

 

 

She also explained how happy she is that they survived Jirou's first day.

"Kanina naglolokohan na kami ni Papa Kitz Clut na pasalamat kami pareho wala pang diborsyo dito sa atin. Yes, andun na kami sa point na yun we were stressed, tired, in pain basta marami pang iba pero nakakaproud pag nalampasan nyo pareho, yung parang gugustuhin nyo pa ng isa pang baby CHAROT LANG! Hoy!

She added, "Saludo sa lahat ng #cleftstrong moms and dads, yung akala namin natrain na kami kay Joo pa lang, marami pa pala kaming matututunan."

Silver lining

Anne openly shared that she experienced perinatal depression and her OB-Gyne suspects that fear for her third baby's condition might be the trigger for it. 

With her second son being diagnosed with Level 3 Autism Spectrum Disorder and cleft palate, and now her third son has bilateral cleft palate and suspected Down syndrome, Anne once said that she will keep on sharing their journey to her over 2 million followers on social media.

"Naghahanap ako ng silver lining sa lahat ng mga nangyayari, siguro gagawin akong kasangkapan ni Lord na if ever man may pamilyang makakaranas na ganito, mafifeel nila na hindi sila nagiisa, may pag-asa pa. may pag-asa pa," she said.
