Tracking Devices For Kids As Low As P1,500 That Moms Swear By

With kids going back to school, reports about children being picked up by strangers or kidnappers alarm parents.

That's why parents have been asking for recommendations for tracking devices to keep their kids safe. We recently published a story about a smartwatch but we found out that the company has since closed down.

If you are an Apple user, an AirTag can be your best bet. It's a small round tracker that can be held by a loop and attached to your kid. 

For Mommy Thrazy, she swears by Apple AirTags for her two kids' safety. She said she learned about it when they visited U.S. last June, and has been using it since last month.

"Many kids in the U.S. have been using AirTags, even dogs. Since my kid is going to have her face-to-face classes, I decided to purchase for both of them. The AirTag gives you the exact directions and address where she is. Even when we go out, we use it. It is very easy to use using the Find Me app. Very thankful that Apple has this kind device."

Mommy Raissa recommends this smartwatch brand that she uses for her child.

"4G siya, may call and tracking function, pero walang video call/SMS function. Pwede na siya for its price. Matagal ma-low batt. May app na i-da-download para doon iinput yung contact details," she told Smart Parenting.

3. Kidsafe Philippines GPS Watch (P1,495)

 

 

This GPS watch is also recommended by parents at the Smart Parenting Village. It must be so good that stocks have been sold out since August. There's a waterproof version of this one, perfect for kids.
