Just like every pregnancy is different, there is no one way to annouce the gender of your baby. You may even keep it to yourself, or make a low-key announcement.
Rita Daniela, for instance, simply posted a photo of herself holding a sonogram with a caption introducing "my boy," whom she described as "an answered prayer." She also gave her first child's name: Juan "Uno" Rafael.
On the other hand, there are other moms-to-be who choose to reveal the gender of their babies in more elaborate ways, such as throwing a party. Here are the current batch of pregnant celebrities who had gender-reveal parties:
Danica Sotto

Danica Sotto, who's carrying her and her husband Marc Pingris's Baby number 3, had her stepmom Pauleen Luna and cousin-in-law Joy W. Sotto to thank for organizing what she called "the perfect gender reveal party."
For starters, the theme revolved around basketball. It's a sport that Marc dominated for many years, first as a collegiate standout and then a Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) superstar.

Then, of course, Danica and Marc's relatives and friends turned up to join in the fun and wish them well with the arrival of their new baby boy.
Jessy Mendiola

When Jessy Mendiola and her husband Luis Manzano popped the balloon to reveal that they're having a girl for their first child, she was the one caught with a "gulat" face.
The actress clarified in an Instagram post, "Honestly, regardless of the sex of our baby we’re just really praying that she will continuously grow in my tummy as a healthy baby girl."

Melissa Ricks also popped a big balloon to reveal that she and her husband Michael Macatangay are going to have a baby girl. While she was as it, he was busy cutting the cake to reveal its pink interior, and all their guests were all watching with excitement.
Melissa took to Instagram to share some photos and express her gratitude: "Thankful and blessed to have wonderful friends. We had a small celebration with few of my friends and I'm so happy I was able to share this moment with them. Love you all."
