Lovely Abella, Benj Manalo Hold Dedication Ceremony For Son Liam Emmanuel

Lovely Abella and Benj Manalo marked a new milestone for their son, Liam Emmanuel.

On Instagram, the dancer-turned-CEO shared the video and photos from Liam's dedication day.

She captioned it with the verse from Jeremiah 1:5, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."

Lovely Abella, Benj Manalo hold dedication ceremony for son Liam Emmanuel

Liam, who was born on September 15, 2023, just turned five months, and has been their family's "happy pill."

"Sobrang sarap niyang kasama. Tipong pag-alis [mo], gusto mo na agad umuwi kasi gusto mo na siyang makasama. Sobrang bait, sobrang happy, happy pill talaga namin siya sa bahay," Benj said of his son.

Lovely meanwhile described their first child together as a good listener, "So tahimik siya kahit nagdadaldal ako for three hours pa yan, tapos after nun, doon palang siya maglililikot."

It can be recalled that Lovely had a delicate pregnancy. She shared, "As in super hirap dahil ayun nga, after 16 years, ngayon lang ulit ako nabuntis, so nahirapan ako, nanganay ako ulit tsaka merong mga precautions."

Lovely Abella, Benj Manalo's son Liam's godparents

Liam's godparents include actresses Kathryn Bernardo and Kakai Bautista, whom Lovely worked with in the film, Hello Love Goodbye.

Lovely penned a heartfelt message to the two, saying, "Nagsimula ang lahat sa [isang] pelikula at nangako na magiging magkaibigan kahit sa labas ng industriya. May kanya-kanyang buhay pero sa panahon ng kalungkutan at kasiyahan, nangakong walang iwanan."

"Mahal ko kayo My Ga @bernardokath and ate @ilovekaye at hanggang sa pagtanda may lalong magpapatibay sa samahan natin si Liam Emmanuel. Salamat at tinanggap ninyo maging ninang ng anak ko at gusto ko kayo kasama sa paglaki niya."

Ninang Kathryn had the sweetest message for her godson, "Maging masaya ka, gawin mo lahat ng gusto mo, and nandito kami lahat to support that, and kung di ka papayagan, tatakas ka someday, you call ninang, I got you."

Valeen Montenegro, Chariz Solomon, and Betong Sumaya, who were Lovely's co-actors in the comedy show Bubble Gang were also among Liam's godparents.

Lovely Abella, Benj Manalo's message to son Liam Emmanuel on dedication day

Lovely meanwhile shared her message to their son, whom they were blessed with after 16 years, "Anak, gusto ko lang sabihin sayo na mommy and daddy love you so much, super duper mahal ka namin. As a Christian, ay talagang maging follower ka ni Lord sa kahit ano pa man yan and always be kind."

Benj meanwhile said, "Always put God first in everything that you do, Siya talaga yung pagkuhaan mo ng lakas, knowledge, and everything."

At the last part of the video, Benj revealed that they are ready to welcome another child, "Lord, kung bibigyan mo pa kami ng isa, ready kami ha."

Lovely has a 16-year-old daughter named Crisha Kaye, while Benj also has a son named Nathan, from their previous relationships. Lovely and Benj got married on January 23, 2021.
