The Korean version of the hit Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden', Boys Over Flowers, is an absolute favorite among K-drama fans, especially those in the Philippines. It's okay if you just watch this because of the four handsome, but arrogant male leads LOL: Gu Jun Pyo (Lee Min-Ho), Yoon Ji Hu (Kim Hyun Joong), So Yi Jung (Kim Bum), and Song Woo Bin (Kim Joon).

But it's fun to watch them try to handle the female lead, Geum Jan Di (Goo Hye Sun), who questions their hold over the school.

Let's face it: The pairing of an alien and a top actress falling in love is weird. But it was perfectly brought to life by Kim Soo Hyun, who plays Do Min Joon (the alien), and Jun Ji Hyun, who plays Cheon Song Yi. If you are not convinced, My Love From The Star brought home many awards, including Best Drama in the 2014 Korea Drama Awards.

    #5 Something In The Rain

Something In The Rain or Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food bravely talks about several taboos in South Korea, including a woman in a relationship with a younger guy. But the chemistry between the older female lead Yoon Jin Ah (Son Ye Jin), and the younger male lead Seo Joon He (Jung Hae In), is so palpable you wonder why is it taboo. You will root for them as they struggle to keep their relationship intact.

#4 Legend Of The Blue Sea

Legend Of The Blue Sea is a fantasy drama that will make you believe that first love indeed never dies. Joon Jae becomes drawn to the jade bracelet Shim Cheong wears and decides to take her under his care. He doesn't realize they have met before.

    #3 Goblin

This K-drama swept 2017 by storm, which revolves around the story of Kim Shin (Gong Yoo), a goblin that has lived for thousands of years because of a curse. To break it, he needs Ji Eun Tak (Kim Go Eun), the so-called goblin's bride. It's a swoon-worthy saga with fans all over the world.

You will also love the Grim Reaper's side stories (Lee Dong Wook), who falls in love with Sunny (Yoo In Na). The bonus is the drama's fantastic soundtrack.

    #2 Descendants Of The Sun

16 Episodes | 2016 | Starring Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo

This was the K-drama where many Pinoys discovered Song Joong Ki or Captain Yoo Si Jin, who fell in love with Song Hye Kyo's character, Doctor Kang Mo Yeon. Their chemistry was so good together, the couple themselves could not deny. The two married later on but unfortunately divorced less than two years later.

Don't let that deter you from watching, though. Yoo Si Jin and Kang Mo Yeon will reel you in as they try to uncomplicate their lives and jobs to nurture a blossoming relationship.

    #1 Crash Landing On You

16 Episodes | 2019 | Starring Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin

So many of the moms who answered our poll watched Crash Landing On You twice, at least. You have to suspend disbelief in many scenes, but no matter. The RiRi or BinJin's chemistry is so undeniable it would have been surprising if they didn't end up together in real life (rumor has it they are engaged).

Oh, right, what's the story? South Korean heiress Yoon Se Ri (Son Ye Jin) goes paragliding to test one of her products. But she literally crash-lands into Captain Ri Jeong Hyeok's life who is based in...North Korea. Like we said, suspend disbelief, and you will have a super kilig ride.
