Pause and Reflect: Recollections and Retreats for Lent 2016
  • Photo from myspiritualroadtrip.com

Holy Week is almost upon us, and while it is considered the time for Christians to reflect on the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus, we are all encouraged to take some time out to rest not just our bodies, but our souls too. One of the ways we can do this is by attending a retreat or recollection.

To help you determine where to find that much-needed “soul refreshment,” here is a list of retreat/recollection schedules and locations:

    1. Vacation With The Lord: 2016 Holy Week Retreat
    Choose from 8-day, 5-day and 3-day retreats
8 days: March 18 (Supper time) to March 27 (Breakfast time)
5 days: March 21 (Supper time) to March 27 (Breakfast time)
3 days: March 23 (Supper time) to March 27 (Breakfast time)

Different venues depending on the duration of the retreat (Baguio City, Cavite, Cebu City, Tagaytay City – please refer to http://www.clcphilippines.org/hwr2016 for details)

The Holy Week Retreats listed above are open to all. The general theme of all the retreats is taken from John 13:14: “If I, then, the Lord and Master, have washed your feet, you must wash each other’s feet.”
