Mall Opens Community Library Where Readers Can Take Home Books For Free

Every parent wants to raise a reader. In order to do that, experts advise to make books easily accessible to your children in order to instill a love for reading.

You can start by building your own library at home, but it’s also important for kids to see their parents, and maybe even other people around them, share the same interest. While young children can’t go out of their homes just yet, parents can nurture their love for reading by visiting this community library and take books home for their kids — absolutely free!

 

 

The newly opened Book Nook At SM Aura Premier is a free public library that aims to create a community for book lovers. They can explore different titles and even discover new, interesting reads by swapping it with their favorite books.

The library can hold more than 1,000 books and visitors can start diving into their chosen title at the designated reading benches. The best part: If they fall in love with what they’re reading, they can take it home for free! Book Nook just wants readers to pay it forward by donating a book of their own.

 

 

Those donating books are also encouraged to leave a note in their pre-loved treasure so that the next reader may know why it has become one of their favorite stories.

To make sure that borrowed and donated books are safe, the titles are placed inside a UV light box and properly sanitized before it is placed on the shelf or released to the reader. Staff will also do contact tracing and log books taken from or donated to the library via QR-codes.

 

 

Book lovers can also look forward to activities like storytelling, book launches, and meet & greet sessions with authors both online and offline.
