A mother of twin girls shared a moving photo on Instagram to share a message about her own feelings towards her body after giving birth.
Hayley Garnett’s daughters Ramona and Ruby were born on November 2, and one week after, on November 9, Garnett posted a photo of herself holding her daughters by her postpartum stomach.
Referring to the stretch marks on her stomach, the mom wrote, “This morning, Archer asked me what’s wrong with my belly and I told him that all of my babies leave marks on my belly so that I never forget for a second that I grew them in my body all on my own and that they exist earthside with me now!”

She adds, “A forever reminder, whether I’m truly confident having these marks or not, it’s no doubt a testament to the miracles my body has made.”
As of this writing, the photo has gotten 16,152 likes on Instagram.
