Anthony Pangilinan had the netizens swooning after sharing a touching video of his gifts for his wife, Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan, on her 55th birthday.
On February 25, Anthony posted a video clip that showed him giving Maricel an envelope. The actress opened it and exclaimed, "Wow, may dollars!" Anthony said it was extra pocket money for her upcoming trip.
But the surprises didn't end there. Anthony pulled out a small pouch and said, "Dahil nawala mo..."
Maricel immediately knew what it was and became emotional as Anthony knelt before her, presenting a replacement wedding ring.
In his post, Anthony explained, "She lost her wedding ring in taping last year, so after a few months of saving for it (I did!), I was able to replace it in time for her birthday!"

He sweetly added, "Will you stay married to me after 30+ years?"
Anthony also shared the message written in the card, "Shout it out from the rooftops again, 'I am the wife of Anthony Pangilinan!'"
He concluded his post with, "Happy 55th this 25th! (kahit mukhang 35 ka lang) I love you! 55 at 2/25/25!"
Maricel replied to his post on Instagram, "I LOVE YOU!"
Anthony Pangilinan's healing journey
Last October, Anthony revealed he had undergone open heart surgery in September, after his doctors found that he had a mitral heart valve issue.

In an interview, Maricel explained why they chose to keep Anthony’s health struggles private. "We just wanted a private time para sa pamilya so that we could heal properly, all of us."
"Kasi kapag dumadaan sa ganitong challenge sa buhay, kailangan ng suporta ng bawat isa. And so we went through it quietly and it’s the most beautiful thing to go through together," she added.
In December, before turning 60, Anthony underwent another heart procedure in Singapore. After three months, he proudly shared that his heart rate had returned to normal.

The couple celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary in December, during their trip to Switzerland with their five children: Ella, Donny, Hannah, Benjamin, and Solana.
