Actress and mother of five Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan recently finished her sixth World Major Marathon alongside her daughter, vlogger-producer Hannah Pangilinan, at the Boston Marathon last April 15.
Maricel's husband, Anthony Pangilinan, also a fitness enthusiast, shared on his Instagram account that the event marks his wife's final major marathon after conquering the races in Tokyo, Chicago, London, New York, and Berlin.

"I love you! Thank you for inspiring me and believing in me and most of all, sending your mini-me to do this with me. She is amazing!!!" the 54-year-old celebrity replied to Anthony's post.
Maricel Laxa, Daughter Hannah Pangilinan's Boston Marathon Experience
Host and entrepreneur Tim Yap, who also ran the historic Boston Marathon, was able to hang with the mother-daughter duo, and chat with Maricel after she finished the race. The three also posed in a photo.
Maricel revealed in Tim's interview video that it took her seven years to complete her six stars.
"My first marathon is dedicated to Anthony, who inspired me and paced me from start to finish. My six stars are for my children Ella, Donny, Hannah, Benjamin, Solana, and Enrique," said the actress, dedicating her success to her family.
She added, "My first 42k was when I turned 42. Now I am 54!"
The mother-daughter duo's participation in the Boston Marathon holds special significance as it was Hannah's first world major marathon experience. Hannah, the third-born among the Pangilinan siblings, constantly posts videos of her running on her Instagram account.
After the race, Hannah uploaded a video on Instagram to express her gratitude to her mother for her support throughout the journey.

"My Baby- WE did this. I couldn’t have had any courage to run Boston without you. Thank you!! I thank you from the bottom of my heart," replied Maricel.
The family's friends and followers congratulated the mother and daughter for their shared victory, including "It’s Showtime" host Anne Curtis, who's known for participating in global marathons.
