Host, actor, and entrepreneur Luis Manzano expressed profound gratitude for the presence of his and Jessy Mendiola’s daughter, Rosie, affectionately known as Peanut, at their second wedding in Palawan on February 15.
“I thank the Lord that we got to do this in front of our Peanut so that she can see what real and chosen love is all about,” the dad said in his vows. “Hindi lang halata, but we had an intense iyakan and argument last night, pagkabalik. It was intense. But we are still here because we chose love. We chose us.”
He also thanked Jessy for choosing to love and marry him, saying, “To my Howhow, thank you for marrying me again. Thank you for deciding to spend the rest of your life with me again. Thank you for choosing to love me again.”
In her vows, actress Jessy shared insights gleaned from their relationship, “Being together for almost 8 years and being married for 3 years have taught me so many things. One of them is that love is not always easy. You have to constantly work hard for it and that’s okay, that’s okay with me.”
“Today, I’m choosing to work harder for your love and happiness. God has given us our biggest blessing, our little Rosie. And I always say this, always, ‘Kayo lang, sapat na.’ I promise to love our family with all my being. I promise to always love you over and over again even on our hardest days. And I promise to protect our peace and happiness. I love you, Peanut. And I love you, my Howhow, always and forever,” Jessy promised.

Luis and Jessy had previously exchanged vows in a civil wedding at The Farm in San Benito in Batangas on February 21, 2021. The couple announced their pregnancy on a vlog in August 2022. In the same video, they recreated their wedding and said each other’s vows. They also alluded to a planned dream wedding at the vlog’s description box, “What a pleasant surprise! We had planned for our church wedding this year but suddenly God gave us this wonderful blessing, proving time and again that God is the master planner. No matter what your plans are, HE has a divine plan for you, one that is definitely BETTER than what you have imagined. His plan is always the best."
In February 2023, Jessy shared her birthing story on her vlog entitled The Birth Of Isabella Rose Tawile Manzano. In it, the mom revealed that she delivered Rosie via a scheduled Cesarean section (CS) in December 2022 because of a cord coil.
