Since rumors about Cannes-winning actress Jaclyn Jose's death made the rounds on social media, Andi Eigenmann's social media accounts have been silent.
On March 5, Tuesday, a day after she appeared publicly to give a statement on her mother's passing, Andi shared a heartfelt message on her Instagram stories.
"Ika'y nasa araw, sa ulan, at sa hangin na aking nilalasap. Umaawit ng kantang puno ng pag-asa at ligaya. Wala na ang sakit. Wala na ang takot. Makikita kita sa mga ulap, maririnig ang iyong mga bulong ng pagmamahal. Magkikita din tayong muli. Sa ngayon didinggin ko muna ang iyong mga awit."
Andi, who is Jaclyn's only daughter with the late actor Mark Gil, revealed that her mom died of heart attack on Saturday morning, March 2. She was 60.
Andi's eldest daughter, Ellie, meanwhile shared photos with Jaclyn on her Instagram account.
Celebrities pay tribute to Jaclyn Jose
Jaclyn had been a mother figure to several Filipino celebrities. Her fellow actors shared their tributes on social media.
Iza Calzado posted on Instagram on March 4, saying how shocked she was about Jaclyn's sudden passing.
Iza worked with Jaclyn in several projects, including the TV series, Te Amo Maging Sino Ka Man, Eternity, and Kahit Puso'y Masugatan.
"You treated me like a daughter and I looked up to you as a mentor and mother. Jane Guck or Nanay Jane I would fondly call you. Our shared love for tequila and rockstars made us click. You were both generous and kind with your words of encouragement and support be it on or off cam. You were also very stern when you needed to be. That’s one of the best things about you — napakatotoo mo," Iza wrote.

She also extended her condolences to Andi, to which Andi replied, "Love you ate iza. Yakap [heart emoji."
Actress Katrina Halili, who is still grieving from the death of her partner, shared how Jaclyn visited her recently to comfort her.
"Thank you tita jhane, dinalaw mo pa ako 2weeks ago para i comfort ako, salamat sa mahigpit na yakap, oras at pagmamahal. Rest in peace [sad emoji] mahal kita!"
She also shared a screenshot of her conversation with Jaclyn, showing how she wanted to be with Katrina while she was going through a difficult time.

Dimples Romana also shared how she grieving the loss of "another true icon."
"Tita Jane, I remember all the laughter, the lessons you generously taught me as a young actor back when we were shooting this movie in 2001 and for our May Minamahal remake. Mahal kita at laging yayakap ng mahigpit. You will never be forgotten," she wrote.
Andi replied to her, saying, "Mahal kita ate ko [heart emoji."

Actress Claudine Barretto also wrote a tribute to Jaclyn on Instagram, saying she's in unbearable pain. The two worked together in the hit 90s TV series, Mula Sa Puso.
Claudine said Jaclyn lived 11 houses away, and has always been her refuge when she needs someone.
"Galit ako kasi 3 months na kita [hindi] dinadalaw. Ayoko mag-isa ka. Nay, tulungan mo ako please. I [love] [you sobra nay. Ang ilap ng tadhana para sa atin dalawa," she wrote.

In an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph) in September 2022, Jaclyn expressed her hopes that her children will always remember her. She has since been living alone; Andi lives in Siargao with her family, and her son, Gwen, is in the U.S.
