Andrew Schimmer confirmed that his wife, Jorhomy Rovero, has passed away.
Jho has been in the hospital since November 1 last year, due to a severe asthma attack that resulted in cardiac arrest and brain hypoxia.
In a series of videos uploaded on Facebook on December 20, Andrew shared the details of his wife's final moments.
"Mga kapatid, ikukuwento ko lang sa inyo at ibabalita ko sa inyo yung pinakamalungkot tsaka pinakaworst na balitang pwede niyong marinig."
He said the incident happened while he was in a taping for a game show in GMA-7. He received a call from their doctors, who told him, "Biglang nawala yung kanyang BP and everything. Nawala lahat pati yung oxygen saturation niya."
He then apologized to the management as he had to rush to the hospital. "Nag-desat 'yung kanyang oxygen saturation, BP, and heart rate."
"Dali-dali naman tayong dumating dito. Inabutan natin siyang nirerevive nung ating mga doctors and nurses. They did everything they could," he said.
He then thanked all of the people who prayed for them and supported them in their journey. "Guys, maraming maraming salamat sa mga nagdasal, sa mga taong hindi po nakalimot sa amin, thank you."
"Ang sakit lang kasi birthday ng bunso namin mamaya, hindi siya inabutan nung bunso namin," he added.
In October, Andrew got clearance from their doctors to bring his wife home after her condition stabilized. However, they had to bring her back to the ICU after a week.
Just last week, Andrew said he is looking forward to marrying Jho soon.
He also shared a photo of his hand holding his wife, "The Love of my Life…my wife..my best friend.. my partner in everything. Remember your promise, together forever."

He then said that their followers deserve to see her, and showed the remains of his partner. "Pakita ko siya sa inyo, one last time, ito yung ating Sleeping Beauty. Iniwan na niya tayo, mga kapatid."
"Mommy, mommy, mahal na mahal ka namin love ko, para 'to sa mga followers mo, para sa mga nagdadasal sa'yo ng paulit-ulit, hindi sila tumigil," he added.
Andrew and Jho have two kids, Andrea and Xander.
