Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, most hospitals no longer allow dads-to-be in the labor or delivery room. This was largely the reason why Coleen Garcia wanted her first birth experience to be a water birth right inside their bedroom, so she can have husband Billy Crawfordbeside her.
Coleen gave birth yesterday, September 10, at 6:33 a.m. to a healthy baby boy they named Amari. In her Instagram stories, she shared that she was on active labor for four hours and had an unmedicated water birth. And of course, Billy was with her through it all.

“Thank you for the massages and for being the most supportive husband! I appreciate you,” the new mom wrote.
Billy also could not help but be in awe of his wife. Today, he shared a special message for Coleen on Instagram.
“Words can’t express what I’m feeling right now. Let me just say, thank you Father God for You have given us an angel,” he wrote.
The new dad also expressed his respect and gratitude after witnessing Coleen’s pregnancy and birthing journey. “Also, bow and salute to you my strong, fearless, gorgeous, and loving wife. I have nothing but respect and gratitude for you! I am SO PROUD to be your husband and equally proud to be the father of our beautiful angel Amari. I’m proud of YOU! I love you my 2 lil everythings,” he said.
Coleen says she will be sharing more of her birth story soon on her YouTube channel. We’re sure the couple is currently enjoying precious moments with their son — we just hope Coleen's other baby, her dog, Tamomo, won't be too jealous!
