"You’ve always had a quiet strength and a gentle heart. No matter how much you’ve grown, you’ve stayed kind, grounded, and full of love for the people who matter to you," RB wrote.
She revealed, "Your mom once said this might be the last birthday she gets to spend with you, and that stayed with me. But I truly believe that as long as you’re by her side, she’ll keep finding the strength to keep going. You’ve given so much of yourself to her, and that love is something truly rare."
RB, who has worked with Kris for years, described Bimby as "a gift to your family and to everyone lucky enough to know you." She added, "I’ve seen how real and good your heart is, and I’ll always be grateful to be part of your life." She also vowed to be with Bimby through every season of his life.
In one of her videos from the celebration, RB asked Bimby what his birthday wish was. He said, "I can't say syempre. I can't say, para it comes true."

Notably, unlike in previous years, the Queen of All Media has yet to post a message for Bimby. However, in a heartfelt message shared in March, she described her son as her "northern star" and greatest source of strength. She revealed that Bimby has been undergoing mixed martial arts (MMA) training and has taken on the role of caregiver, helping her navigate the challenges of her illnesses.

For Bimby's 17th birthday, Kris expressed her hopes for him to grow up with a strong character, integrity, and a passion for learning. She told him, "I LOVE YOU not only during my lifetime or yours BUT definitely for eternity. You’re my greatest achievement because of your capacity to love—this early, you’ve embraced your responsibility to take care of your kuya, and since you were 11 years old, you’ve been so protective of me. Love doesn’t die my [honey emoji], please remember that."
At 57, Kris is blessed to have such a devoted son as she continues to battle nine autoimmune conditions, including Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria, EGPA, Systemic Sclerosis/ Scleroderma, Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Polymyositis, and Mixed Connective Tissue disease.

In January 2024, while Kris and her family were still in the U.S. for her treatment, she mentioned that Bimby might have to return to the Philippines to work in showbiz, as her medical bills were piling up. The family is now based in Taguig City, and Kris rarely leaves her safe zone due to her allergies.
Born James Aquino Yap Jr., Bimby is Kris' son with her former husband, James Yap. James also posted a birthday greeting for his son on his Instagram story.
