Claudia Barretto Weds Basti Lorenzo, Her Siblings Show Their Love

On Tuesday, April 8, Claudia Barretto married her longtime partner Basti Lorenzo in an intimate ceremony at St. James the Great Church in Muntinlupa. Their close family and friends attended the quiet yet elegant affair.

The newlyweds, who have been together for ten years, continued the celebration with a reception at The Lakehall at Nena's Sanctuary, a stunning venue in Sta. Elena Golf and Country Estate, Santa Rosa, Laguna.

The couple kept everything refined, simple, and elegant from the ceremony to the reception and even their wedding looks. Claudia wore an off-shoulder gown with a soft A-line silhouette from Rosa Clara's 2025 collection. Her makeup was minimal, which her longtime makeup artist Anton Patdu shared was described by Julia and Dani as "very Claudia."

Claudia's mom, Marjorie Barretto, siblings, and dad, Dennis Padilla, were at the wedding. Juliana Gomez, Richard Gomez, Lucy Torres-Gomez, and sisters Ella and Hannah Pangilinan were also present.

Claudia is Marjorie and Dennis's second child, with actress Julia Barretto as the eldest and Leon as the youngest. The 25-year-old also has half-sisters, Dani Barretto-Panlilio and Erich.

As for the groom, Basti Lorenzo is one of the 12 children of businessman Martin Ignacio Lorenzo, known for his involvement in multiple ventures in food, agriculture, and hospitality. Basti is also the younger brother of Mateo Lorenzo, husband of actress Erich Gonzales.

Leon and Dani Barretto pen heartfelt letters for their sister Claudia

A few days after Claudia's wedding, her younger brother Leon posted a heartfelt letter on Instagram dedicated to "his Claui" and his new brother-in-law. In the post, he expressed his love and support for the couple.

Leon began the letter by reflecting on how his bond with Claudia had evolved—from constant bickering as kids to becoming each other's confidants.

"When we were young, it was almost automatic how we'd bump heads. But as time went on, we became each other's confidant and go-to person. I'm truly grateful for how close we've become—knowing everything about each other without judgment, only love and comfort."

Leon also shared how his sister played a big role in shaping him into the man he is today, saying she helped guide him in everything from "how to talk to girls properly" to "how to be a gentleman." "You've guided me toward the right path and passed on life lessons I'll forever hold and remember."

He went on to say his wish for Claudia. He said, "My only wish for you is to be loved the same way you love—so deeply, so genuinely [...] I witnessed a rare kind of love between the two of you—one that stayed strong through adversity. Some people may not see it, but I do. And I know you've helped each other become the best versions of yourselves over the years."

Leon added, "Claui, I hope you know I'll forever be here for you in times of hardship. Even though someone else will now look after you, as your brother, I won't ever let you go through life's challenges alone. I am, and always will be, your biggest supporter and protector."

"I pray for a happy marriage ahead. Continue to protect your peace and joy—don't let anyone or anything take that away."

Claudia's response was simple yet heartfelt: "I'm incredibly lucky to have you."

Claudia's half-sister, Dani, also posted a heartfelt message for the newlyweds.

"Congratulations on this incredible milestone—10 years in the making. Your love, patience, and commitment have brought you to this moment, and it's truly something to celebrate," she wrote.
