Danica Sotto's Father's Day Message Proves Kids Never Outgrow A Father's Love

Despite having mostly grown-up kids (with the exception of 2-year-old Tali), Vic Sotto has managed to keep his family close and intact. And it looks like they still enjoy mini-adventures for their bonding moments.

On Father’s Day, Vic’s eldest daughter, Danica Sotto-Pingris posted a short but meaningful message for her dad and accompanied it with #throwback family photos. It included a celebratory shot of their fam after finishing an escape room game. All of Vic’s kids were there — Danica, Oyo Boy, Vico, Paulina, and Tali, as well as his children’s partners — Oyo Boy’s wife Kristine Hermosa and Paulina’s husband, Jed Llanes. Vic’s wife, Pauleen Luna was also present.

“Going through some old photos and it made me miss the #goodolddays,” Danica wrote. “I miss hugging you Dad. Happy Father’s Day! Thank you for loving us so much.” She also included the hashtags #carefreedays #throwback, #memories.

On her Instagram stories, Paulina Sotto-Llanes also posted a photo of the siblings with their dad. “Insert Kuya @vicosotto,” she captioned one of the posts.

 

 

The missing “child” was unfortunately held up in a Mayor’s meeting. “I wish I could spend time with Papa or even my brothers. But I don’t want to put them at risk,” Mayor Vico Sotto wrote on his Facebook page.

He also proved that he was every bit a funny man like his dad, as he couldn’t resist inserting a joke. Since he and his staff were wearing shorts, he added, “Wag kayong mag-alala… alam kong Sunday naman ngayon… so we kept our meeting very SHORT [laughing emoji].”

Of course, his very short Father’s day post for his dad was also hilarious. He shared a photo of Captain Ri from the hit K-drama Crash Landing On You. Instead of the actor Hyun Bin’s face, though, someone had Photoshopped Vic’s face onto it.

“Happy Father's Day, Captain Vic!” Vico wrote as caption. The resemblance is uncanny, don’t you think? LOL.
