Kitkat Favia took to Instagram on August 3, 2022 to announce that she has given birth to her and her husband Waldy Favia's first child. They have named their daughter Uno Asher B. Favia.
"My life is COMPLETE!" the actress-TV host wrote in the caption of the first of her series of posts. "THANK YOU LORD FOR THIS GREATEST BLESSING I PRAISE TRUST HONOR AND LOVE YOU OH LORD."
A few hours later, Kitkat shared a variation of her photo in the hospital cradling Baby Uno Asher. She managed to flash a smile that highlighted her made-up face, complete with highly defined eyebrows, thick eyelashes, and rosy cheeks.
The new mom wrote in the caption, "'Yung super wala ka pang tulog kahit segundo at wala ka pang kain pero super all worth it! Kumpleto na talaga buhay ko sa maliit na pamilya ko…"
She added, displaying her comedic flair, "Hello world daw sabi ng Baby Girl Uno Asher B. Favia ko. Definitely my mini me! Taas ng boses eh hahahaha pati kilay plakado!"
In Kitkat's third post, she shared a photo with her husband Waldy joining her and their newborn.
"And we are 3!" she declared. "Super Proud and Happy and Overwhelmed and crying Parents of baby girl Uno Asher. Thank YOU SO MUCH PAPA GOD."
Just like Kitkat, more moms are prepping up just before they give birth (read here). This way, they'll look good not just in the hospital but more importantly in the photos documenting their childbirth journey.
Things to prepare
Vanity aside, here's a list of what to do before going into labor in this era of COVID-19 pandemic, according to a delivery room nurse:
1. Type and print the pertinent details for doctors and nurses. Put the printouts in a big envelope along with the necessary documents.
2. Prepare your hospital bag wisely.
3. Remove nail polish in your fingernails and toenails, and refrain from wearing lipstick or cheek tints.
4. Don't wear any jewelry, even your wedding ring, or dentures.
5. Shave your pubic hair.
