  • Max Collins On Her Water Birth Experience: 'I Never Knew How Strong I Could Be'

    Every birth is a moment of celebration for a new life and the strength of a mother. Childbirth doula Irina Otmakhova shared how honored she is to witness Max Collins and Pancho Magno welcome their first baby via water birth. 

    “Feeling so honoured to witness this birth! Max and Pancho truly rocked it!” the doula behind Conscious Birth Manila wrote. “Welcome to the world baby Skye Anakin!” she said. 

    Her words were accompanied by a photo taken just minutes after the new parents held their baby for the first time last July 6

    Doula Irina shared on her Instagram Stories a video of Max taken just an hour after welcoming her first baby. She talked about her gentle birth experience.

    “Gentle birth is an amazing, amazing experience and very unforgettable,” Max said. “I feel so empowered as a woman. I feel like I never knew how strong I am or how strong I could be,” she added.

    The new mom also sent an uplifting message to other mamas who will be giving birth. “We’re all made to be strong, empowered women,” she said. “You can do it. Always believe in yourselves, and always trust your instincts,” she added.
