Megan Young And Mikael Daez Host Intimate Gender Reveal Party

Megan Young and Mikael Daez are expecting a baby boy! The couple marked the milestone with a cozy DIY gender reveal party for family and friends, also taking their fans along for the journey.

Megan and Mikael's Cozy Gender Reveal Party

Megan shared on Instagram, "Super late post because… life and holidays. Finally got all our pictures sorted out and wanted to share photos from our gender reveal." She posted a diary-style collage of photos, highlighting the special moments of the celebration.

She continued, "We decided to set up everything ourselves since we really just wanted to share the news with our loved ones in a fun and meaningful way."

The expectant mom then listed the activities, writing, "Here are some of the things we did: we served pizza, pancit, coffee, and lots of snacks, set up a couple of balloons for decoration, had a gaming area for Mario Kart, a painting station for creatives, good music, and fun games with LEGO prizes."

Both Megan and Mikael's families attended, along with their closest friends and members of their management. Although most of Megan's family is in the US, she mentioned that she had already shared the news with them earlier.

Meanwhile, Mikael shared behind-the-scenes moments of the set-up on his Instagram, captioning, "There's something so magical and fulfilling about doing something on your own. Boneezy and I have always planned our own trips and adventures, and little did we know that we'd do the same for our gender reveal."

The actor added, "All we knew was that we wanted it to be easy-going and full of people we love. We sprinkled a bit of our personality on top and that was it—a fun and memorable day that couldn't get any better."

In the Instagram Reel, the couple showed how they transformed their new studio into a fun and inviting space. It was especially meaningful as the gender reveal of their first child was the first-ever event held there.

Guests dressed in pink or blue, depending on their guesses for the baby's gender.

Initially, both Megan and Mikael believed they'd be welcoming a baby girl. Mikael even quipped, "I was thinking that 90% chance na girl. Pero ngayon, when I woke up, 80% chance na lang." They were both surprised to find out they're having a boy, but happy all the same.

The two announced their pregnancy in December 2024, which delighted their fans and followers. Megan and Mikael tied the knot twice in January 2020—once in Nasugbu, Batangas, and again in Subic.
