'More Than A Parenting Resource, Smart Parenting Is A Purpose,' Moms, Dads Unbox The New Smart Parenting

For the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic started in 2020, Smart Parenting brought together its management, editors, and parent ambassadors to celebrate happy, healthy Filipino families.

On June 1st, following health protocols, the Smart Parenting family converged at the Summit Media HQ in Mandaluyong City.

With a couple of kids in tow, it was a fun, colorful, and memorable day to remember.

Moms and dads were treated to a day to glam up, share good food, and bring home happy memories.

Purpose.

The first order of business is to introduce the growing Smart Parenting editorial team, who are mostly mothers, and are enjoying an output-based, work-from-home set-up.

"More than a parenting resource, Smart Parenting is a purpose. Raising happy and healthy Filipino families became the heart of every content we publish and service we provide," said Iza Cuyos, Smart Parenting's Audience and Business head, and mom of a toddler.

"The values of expertise, community, inclusivity and empowerment are also evinced in the brand’s new look," she adds.

Smart Parenting's Editors-At-Large, Rica Peralejo-Bonifacio and Joey Ong sent their video messages, cheering on the Smart Parenting team and its parent ambassadors for their relentless service in providing a safe space online for Filipino parents amid anxieties and uncertainties.

It was also the first meeting of the Smart Parenting Mom Squad and Dad Squad, who represent diverse Filipino families, from traditional, to blended, to solo-parent family set-ups from all over the Philippines.

These moms and dads are the ambassadors of the new Smart Parenting, which is not only about raising bright kids, but more importantly, promoting the physical, mental, emotional, social, and financial health of parents as well, and the family as a whole. More than a job, Smart Parenting is a lifestyle.
