Paolo, Samantha Valenciano Welcome 2nd Child, 'Precious' Baby Opening Eyes For First Time

Paolo Valenciano's wife Samantha Godinez has given birth to their second child, a son they've named Luciano Mikael G. Valenciano and given the nickname Luch.

The couple took to Instagram on February 3, 2023 to share the good news of having a new member of their growing family that includes their 6-year-old daughter Nataleia Martine, nicknamed Leia.

Samantha, a photographer and graphic designer, posted a photo of Baby Luch peacefully sleeping in the nursery.

The new mom of two got many congratulatory messages, including from relatives from her husband's side of the family.

These included actress Maricel Laxa, whose husband Anthony Pangilinan is a younger brother of Paolo's mother Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano. Another well-wisher is Maricel and Anthony's son Donny Pangilinan, a popular young star.

Family friend and singer-TV host Karylle hinted in her comment that she and her husband, Sponge Cola vocalist Yael Yuzon, are going to be godparents to Baby Luch.

Another set of well-wishers comprised of Samantha's friends, who all happen to be moms working in the entertainment industry, such as Isabelle Daza, Iya Villania, Ynna Asistio, and Isabel Oli.

On the other hand, Paolo shared reels that captured Baby Luch's first time to open his eyes. "Precious," as described in the comments section by actress Cai Cortez.

Paolo, who's known as a concert director, likewise received many congratulatory messages, such as from actor Jericho Rosales.

Paolo's dad Gary Valenciano, Mr. Pure Energy himself, simply wrote "SON." Gary's fellow iconic singer Martin Nievera, also an uncle of Samantha, commented to Paolo, "You must be so, so happy."

Paolo's younger brother Gab Valenciano also posted on his own Instagram account a few snaps taken in the hospital, during a visit with their mom Angeli and younger sister Kiana Valenciano, also a singer.
