Rufa Mae Quinto gets real about her postpartum recovery
It has been more than a month since the sexy comedienne gave birth to her first child, daughter Alexandria, with husband Trevor Magallanes. And she took to Instagram to own her new postpartum body. "Para maging confident ako again, I tried to do a selfie," Rufa Mae wrote as the caption for a photo of her in a white lingerie with a life-sized sexy photo of her as her backdrop. Her signature curvy body was still evident. Rufa Mae shared that she already lost 40 pounds since, from 187 pounds down to 147 pounds. "Wow, amazing! 'Pag ganito ang lagay, e di forget na ang emote at postpartum. Mag ready na ako sa beach this summer 2017!" she added. Rufa hopes that her linea negra and dark spots on her tummy will go away. "By the way, my neck, armpit, [at] singit ko pala namuti na din na parang libag lang na natanggal every time I shower! So yes! Laban!" she added.

"Meron ako war shock 'pag nasa labas. Part ng postpartum ko, di ko ma-explain. I can't stand to be out, parang I wanna scream tapos, nabibingi ako gusto ko umuwi agad sa bahay," Rufa Mae revealed.
The new mom is fighting it little by little, and taking selfies is one of her ways to overcome it. "Nasanay ako na buntis...tapos ngayon I'm alone back to myself again, slowly regaining all my hormones and confidence para sa anak ko. I want her to see me okay, so I can take care of her," Rufa Mae wrote. (gmanetwork.com)
Delamar Arias determined to deliver baby via gentle C-sectionADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOWAfter welcoming her second son Parker in 2015 through gentle cesarean, the former Morning Rush radio host is determined to deliver her next baby the same way. On Instagram, she reposted a "beautiful gentle C-section" birth. (We've written about this gentle breech C-section birth here.) "This is not me. But I am definitely opting for another gentle cesarean section this time around," Delamar wrote in the caption. She's currently making her birth plan with a doula. "And I'm so happy my OB is open to this. If you are pregnant I hope that you will read the original caption of this post," Delamar added. She and fiancé Tyler and their sons Cooper and Parker are excitedly waiting and preparing for her due date to arrive.
Kylie Padilla still wants to train Muay Thai even while pregnantADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOWThe soon-to-be mom is getting her daily dose of exercise through walking, doing yoga, and going to the gym with fiancé Aljur Abrenica to prepare for childbirth. Kylie, however, is thinking of resuming her training for Muay Thai, a popular combat sport in Thailand. "I might go back into Muay Thai because I researched, puwede naman, e," she said in an interview. "Hindi lang gano'n ka-ano yung power but I can. I saw a few ladies doing it so sabi ko, 'O, puwede pala e,'" Kylie added.
Exercise is perfectly healthy for pregnant women (read more about it here), and in fact, may do more good than harm for both the mother and her baby. Former Muay Thai world champion Caley Reece trained until she's 39 weeks pregnant, but had to modify her workout for her and her baby's safety. Kylie, who started her love for the sport in her teenage years, could be able to train with advice from her doctor and with a qualified trainer who knows how to work with pregnant women. (pep.ph)
