Beauty Queen Sandra Lemonon Is Engaged And Expecting First Baby!

Double congratulations are in order for beauty queen Sandra Lemonon and her partner basketball player Sol Mercado. The couple shared not just one but two relationship milestones!

Sandra and Sol first announced their engagement on Sunday, March 13, 2022. On her Instagram, Sandra shared a photo of her kissing Sol as she flashes her engagement ring.

She included the date March 11, 2022, and time, 5 PM, in the caption, which we're guessing is the exact moment when Sandra said the big 'Yes!' to Sol.

A day after sharing their plans to tie the knot, the Miss Universe 2020 candidate revealed that she and her now-fiance are expecting their first child together.

"Creating life together. We love you, Papi," Sandra wrote in the caption tagging Sol's Instagram account.

Sandra uploaded a short clip showing a series of photos from the proposal, including a photo of soon-to-be dad Sol kissing his fiancee's baby bump.

Well-wishes quickly flooded the comment section for the couple. Among those who extended their congratulations are Sandra's fellow beauty queens.

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, for one, says she's excited to a tita.

Binibining Pilipinas International 2021 Hannah Arnold, Miss Universe Philippines 2017 Rachel Peters, and Miss World Philippines 2018 Katarina Rodriguez also expressed how happy and excited they are for soon-to-be wife and mom Sandra.

Is it a baby girl or baby boy for Sandra's first child?

The former beauty queen was on a roll with her milestone announcement and also made a gender reveal for her firstborn—and it's a boy!

Sandra, 27, shared that she has manifested being a mama to a baby boy. "I've always imagined myself having a little baby boy, for it to actually happen is a surreal feeling," she shared.

She also expressed her gratitude to her partner, thanking Sol for "another priceless gift in helping me become a Mama."

It was September 2021 when the couple revealed their relationship. Sandra then posted a lengthy message for Sol.

"I can never seem to be upset with you for to[o] long because you always know how to make me laugh & be accountable while giving us grace & being patient in moments when we need it the most," part of the message read.

For his part, Sol also dedicated an appreciation post for his partner. "Never have I had anyone get me and understand me the way you do, we constantly on the same vibration and I appreciate and love you more than can be explained through this post."

He adds, "Looking forward to continuing this journey together, life is so much better with you by my side!"

True enough, the couple is now on track on their journey to forever as they start to build their own family! Congratulations, Sandra and Sol!
