  • This year’s Smart Parenting Convention is happening on June 29, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at SM Megamall Megatrade Hall 3. Can’t wait for the big day? Here’s a sneak peek of some of the newest, coolest, and most helpful baby products you’ll want to look for at the convention.

Baby essentials at the Smart Parenting Convention

Apart from the talks on pregnancy and parenting from our experts, fill your shopping needs from at least 70 concessionaires offering special discounts that you can only get on the day of the convention. Tickets are FREE for registered Smart Parenting members (click here to sign up!). You can also purchase passes at SM Tickets for Php100 or on-site.

    1. Bath products

Have you ever tried washing the baby in a sink? It can be uncomfortable and can give mom or dad a harder time. Bébé Momo offers the Hippih sink cushion as a solution: it protects your little one from the cold surface of the sink and makes it easier for you to clean your infant, too! It’s made of polyurethane foam, so it’s lightweight and dries up by itself, and it’s anti-bacterial also. All their items are 10% off at the day of the convention!

Speaking of bathtime, Babyganics PH will also be at the convention with its all-natural baby skincare products, including shampoos and body wash, bubble baths, and moisturizing lotions. Their bath essentials are tear-free, non-allergenic, and pediatrician- and dermatologist-tested, too! If you buy any Babyganics product worth Php1,000, you get a free bubble bath!

    2. Baby carriers

Babywearing has become popular in the country as it allows moms and dads to multitask while taking care of their little one. At the Smart Parenting Convention, we have a number of brands offering wraps and carriers that you’d want to check out if you’re thinking of wearing your baby.

Nanay at Ako offers locally-made ring slings, Meh Dais (a traditional Asian carrier), and baby carriers like the Cargo and Cargo Fit carriers, which are similar to common baby carriers in the market. If you shop for these two carriers at the convention, you’ll get Php1,000 off, plus 10% discount on the other items.

Aruga Handwovens offers customized baby wraps for moms. Each piece is handwoven by the owner, who is also a babywearing consultant and mom. You get a Php500 discount voucher at the convention, and discounted rates for customized baby wraps.

    3. Sleep items

Swaddling your newborn can help him get better sleep. Try the Halo Sleepsack from Halo Philippines — it’s a “hip-healthy” adjustable swaddle that’s made from breathable, non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and flame-retardant fabric. They also offer wearable blankets that offer warmth while helping baby sleep better. Get 10% discount when you shop at the convention!

    4. Teethers

Teethers can help soothe baby’s gums when teething symptoms begin to show. Sophie the Giraffe is a classic (not to mention adorable) teether from France that’s a favorite of Hollywood celebrities. It’s a teether and toy in one — soft to the touch but flexible and has lots of parts for baby to chew. Get it from Mommy’s Little Boss at the convention — the shop is offering up to 70% discount on selected items!

    5. Baby clothes

If you’re going to feed and burp your baby, might as well be stylish, right? Noah’s Ark PH offers bibdanas (bib + bandana), backtowels, and burp cloths in striking designs. The burp cloths can even double as a breastfeeding cover!

    6. Snacks and mealtime items

If your little one is ready for solids, she can try Nosh Baby Munchables — teething wafers that dissolve quickly in the mouth and contain no artificial colors and flavors. Choose from Simply Rice, Strawberry Beet, Blueberry, Cinnamon, or Banana Mango.

Ella’s Kitchen is organic baby food that come in convenient food pouches. Try their squished fruits and melty puffs at the convention, which you can get at 10% off!

    7. Cloth diapers

Looking for quality cloth diapers? Try Dandy Nappy, which started in 2012 and is one of the pioneer brands of cloth diapers in the Philippines. Their bestseller is the all-in-one cloth diaper, which is adjustable and can fit newborns up to 4-year-olds! Shop at the convention and get Php50 off every diaper you buy!

If you’re looking for a cross between an all-in-one diaper and a fitted cloth diaper, try Butt-oms Up, which sells handmade hybrid fitteds — a type of cloth diapers that are breathable and a little more water-resistant than other fitted diapers. They come in pretty designs, too! Get a free bib for every Php700 purchase of Butt-oms Up products at the convention!

Smart Parenting Convention is co-presented with Nido. Special thanks to our major sponsor, PLDT Home and minor sponsors Nexcare and Jack and Jill.
