Scarlet Snow Belo is making the most of her school break by enjoying a family trip to Paris, France, with her parents, celebrity doctors Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho.
Apart from visiting tourist spots in the City of Love, Scarlet's first order of business is to treat her companions to some French breakfast.
Scarlet was seen headed to a boulangerie (which our quick Google search tells us means French bakery) to buy some bread for their breakfast in her most recent update about the trip. What's a trip to France without getting a baguette and croissant, right?
The 7-year-old gal was proud to share in her caption that she earned the money she used for her boulangerie purchases from doing simple chores. Apparently, this was her parents' way of teaching her how to handle money wisely and the value of hard work.

"Lately, I have been learning about the importance of work and how to handle money. Daddy and Mommy gave me little jobs to do and paid me for doing it," Scarlet wrote.
In the comment section, Scarlet says, her "favorite job to do is to open and close the curtains every morning and night time."
She also broke down how she manages her "chore paycheck." Scarlet says, "Of my earnings, 10% I return to God as my tithe. Another 10% I give away. 30% I save. Then the rest I can spend if I want to.
"This morning, we went to the boulangerie to get some freshly baked bread, and guess what… it was MY TREAT!"
Such a generous act, Scarlet! For that, we give you chef's kisses!
Aside from delicious bread, Scarlet did not forget to buy some treats for herself as well. She said she also bought Easter bunny chocolate and a lollipop in the video.

3 Ways Parents Can Teach Kids Good Money Habits
Financial experts will be in chorus to advise parents never to shy away from discussing money matters with their children. Money should not be a taboo topic in the family.
Financial literacy begins at home, and parents can start giving money lessons to their children as young as toddlers. Here are some tips to help you set up your young ones off to financial success:
1. Introduce the concept of earning money
It is said that one learns best on the job. Forbes says, "Kids need to have money of their own so they can learn how to make decisions about using it."
This is what Vicki and Hayden are practicing when they use chores to reflect work done so one can earn money. With her "chore paycheck," Scarlet learns how to distribute the money she makes.
A caveat: Some experts, however, tells parents to be mindful when giving kids rewards for doing household chores, as it could lead to entitlement.
2. Teach the concept of self-control
Many, if not all, parents have been in the "buy me this, buy me that" situation with their kids. So, in addition to getting your kids to grasp how money can be earned, how to live within a budget should follow.
Teach kids about the difference between wants vs. needs. In a previous interview, Vicki says she ensures that despite their well-off status, she won't spoil Scarlet by not giving her everything she wants.
"Darling, we don't have the money to buy all of these. I can buy you one thing, you choose," is what the celebrity doctor would tell Scarlet whenever they go on shopping. (Read the full article here)
Doing this also presents an opportunity for the child to practice making wise financial decisions.
3. Be a good model
The manner you speak and handle money while you're around your kids is just as essential as the lessons you educate them about money. Walk the talk, as the old adage says.
Whenever possible, show your kids how you handle your family's finances and involve them when talking about saving, spending for daily needs, and even when doing charitable causes.
