All Dads Want For Christmas Is Peace Of Mind. And A Full Tank Of Gas. Here Are 7 Gift Ideas From Dads

With less than two weeks to go before Christmas, naisip niyo na ba kung ano ang Christmas wish ninyo? Kung hindi pa, well, here are samples of wishes from my Dadbud community na baka makatulong sa inyo or sa mga misis para magka idea sa regalo ngayong pasko.

It’s never always just a material thing, and I am happy to share that most men do wish for peace…peace of mind from our misis. #PeaceandQuiet

Madalas pag tinatatanong tayo kung anong gusto natin na regalo, ang usual na sagot ay 

“Kahit ano?” 

“Ikaw na bahala” 

“Wag ka na mag abala”

Pero aminin natin na meron talaga tayong mga wants and don’t be shy, it’s normal and only human to wish for things. So let me start with a few to kick off our Daddy Christmas wishes this 2022.

What dads really want for Christmas

1. Peace of mind

Peace of mind is definitely on top of the list because the past couple of years has been quite different for humanity. We are barely coming out of the pandemic and now entering a recession so talagang napaka daming iniisip nating mga Dads.

Konting kalabit naman diyan, mumshies. Ngayong bakasyon naman at malamig ang simoy, bigyan natin ng init ang pagsasama.

Paano ba natin maitatawid nanaman ang isa pang taon? Ano ba ang kasalan ko bakit hindi nanaman ako kinikibo ni misis? Tataas nanaman ba ang gasolina next week or bababa?

Although it is hard to wrap this up in a box to be placed under a Christmas Tree, the best way to give it to our partners is through support and understanding. Tigil muna natin ang pagtatalo. Park muna natin ang mga sama ng loob sa isa’t isa. Let there be peace on earth and definitely in our homes. Lessen the baggage by being more understanding and work together for the coming year.

2. Something to unwrap na hindi regalo.

Konting kalabit naman dyan mumshies. An initiated act of sexy time is another top wish for most Dads. Madalas na lahat tayo ay pagod sa ating mga trabaho, pag alaga sa bata, gawain sa bahay, pero ngayon na bakasyon naman at malamig ang simoy ng hangin, bigyan naman natin ng init ang pagsasama.

This is the perfect gift to one another and definitely the most enjoyable. Libre kaya sulit, ingat lang kase baka madagdagan ang aalagaan next year.

3. Something for our hobby.

Men are creatures of hobby. Meaning most of us would probably have this one interest that really consumes our time and mind. I am 100% sure that our partners know what this is and kung hindi man, maybe paying attention more would go well with this gift.

Be it biking, motor, a sport, cooking, gaming or kung ano man, anything that is related to our interest is something that we all definitely want. A nice new gadget if you can afford it. A ticket to a game. New knives for us cooking daddies. Download a new game or upgrade.

If you pay attention, these interest are super easy to identify. Wala kase sa nature ng mga lalake ang matago ang mga hobbies. Feelings lang hirap kame ipakita pero ang mga trip sa buhay, we often wear it with pride. #hugot

4. Good health for the whole family.

Sounds generic? But yes, this is something that most Dads really wish for the whole family. Isa na siguro ito sa non-stop na tumatakbo sa utak nating mga Dads, ang kalagayan ng ating mga anak, partners, at magulang.

This is a Christmas wish and definitely the most important one. Wishing for good health is way better than wealth because a healthy body is one that you can use to work and hustle. Start with taking care of our bodies and everything else will follow.

5. Wealth!

Oo, walang hindi naghahangad yumaman or manalo sa Lotto. Christmas wish diba kaya let’s wish for wealth and prosperity for the coming year.

'Ito ang pinaka mahal pero practical na regalo ngayong Pasko: a full tank of gas that can be enjoyed by the whole family.

Christmas is the best time to connect with old friends, families, and even our partners. Maybe the key to finding wealth is finding the right connection this Christmas season.

6. A nice dinner ('yung usually bawal namin kainin)

It’s true that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach so a nice dinner or meal would be a great Christmas treat, especially if shared with the whole family. Keep things simple by preparing a dish at home that we really love or ordering that putok batok na minsan lang naman kaya ok lang type of meal. 

Pwede din to invite our friends over for a few drinks to show support for our camaraderie. We are always proud of our wives’ special dish kaya talagang iyayabang namin to sa mga barakada. Flex that special caldereta or to-die-for na roast beef.

7. Full tank of gas

Ito ang pinaka mahal pero practical na regalo ngayong pasko, a full tank of gas that can be enjoyed by the whole family is another good option.

Go on a road trip this Christmas, plan one out for the family and bond while on the road. Sing our favorite Christmas songs with our kids while driving and make priceless memories. Believe me, these things are the most precious because we can always look back and see photos that will bring back that warm fuzzy feeling.

Kung tutuusin, madaming kababawan ang trip nating mga Dads pero madami din tayong gusto na may lalim at talagang seryoso.
