It's nap time, but your little one continues to pull his toys from the shelves, asks for your phone while jumping up and down, or points to the door for that slim chance you'd allow him to explore the outside world.
Sounds familiar?
Well, Nico Bolzico can definitely relate!
In a recent Instagram post, Nico Bolzico shares that you can "Call 1-800-BULLIEDPADRESCLUB NOW" for help.
The post comes with a photo of Nico and friend Erwan Heussaff holding their daughters' strollers steady while their little princesses take peaceful naps.
"get your #ElPadre who can put your baby to sleep in no time, if you call in the next 20 minutes, you can get two #ElPadres for the price of one and if you call in the next 5 minutes, we can also add a baby!" Nico quips.
Judging from the faces of their little angels Thylane and Dahlia, it seems like these fathers are doing a great job!
Nico then ends the post with a reminder on who the 'automatic' daddy members of their club are: "If your partner is part of the #BulliedHusbandsClub, he is automatically part of the #BulliedPadresClub, so no need to call. #BulliedPadresClub is a branch of #BulliedHusbandsClub, no need to fulfill a different form, if you are part of the latest, by having a child, you are automatically part of the first."
Sleep training your toddler
Kidding aside, putting your baby or toddler to sleep can be a challenging task. Here, parents shared effective ways on how they were able to get their toddlers to sleep on their own.
It's possible that your baby had a steadier sleep pattern during her first few months, but at past age one, most toddlers refuse to take naps at daytime. “Toddlers can stay awake for longer periods during the day than babies,” says Judith Owens, M.D., director of sleep medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital. Not wanting to nap may mean he is conditioned for less sleep, although this may still vary per day.
The key to getting more consistent sleep is in being consistent with your child’s pre-sleep routine: his bath, his sleep, etc. Says Owens, “The timing and order of meals and activities help anchor your child’s circadian clock.”
