Dads, Take Notes From DJ Chacha's Preggy Appreciation Post For Hubby

Radio host DJ Chacha penned an appreciation post for her husband, Michael Guevara, highlighting his display of love languages. The married couple marked their 12th anniversary on May 30.

DJ Chacha, who's pregnant with her third child, wrote on Instagram, "My love, hindi ko man lagi sinasabi pero salamat sa lahat. I thank God for you every day. You are more than I could ever ask for."

The 92.3 FM radio host then shared meaningful gestures her husband has made— things fellow expectant moms would appreciate from their partners.

"Salamat sa mahabang pasensiya, buntis man ako o hindi. Ang pasensiya mo hindi nauubos. My pregnancy with our girls was a breeze but this one has not always been easy," said DJ Chacha.

Words of affirmation

In her post, DJ Chacha thanks Michael for reminding her that things will be alright amidst her personal battles. She wrote, "Salamat kasi lagi kang nandiyan. Kapag nahihirapan ako sa trabaho, sa pagiging nanay, sa pagbubuntis, lagi mong sinasabi na…okay lang yan. Things will be okay."

Her husband also often assures her that she is beautiful even when she does not feel like it. DJ Chacha said, "Salamat kasi kapag sinasabi kong ang pangit ko, o ang itim ng kili-kili ko o laki ng ilong ko you always say… "hindi, ganon pa rin naman." This is your way of making sure I still feel pretty kahit na alam kong 'pa-Shrek' na itsura ko."

Acts of service

DJ Chacha expressed her gratitude to her husband for driving her to work and accompanying her to checkup appointments. "Salamat for driving me to work. At dahil gusto mong makatipid, naghihintay ka mula 5 am to 11 am just to make sure na safe kami ni Baby. Gusto mo kasi ikaw ang magdadala sakin sa ospital kapag lalabas na si Baby."

She also praises him for looking after the kids and managing the household chores when she's feeling physically exhausted, "Salamat sa pag-aalaga sa mga bata at pag-aalaga sa bahay sa mga panahong gusto ko lang humilata at tumulala lang."

Presence and patience

Then, DJ Chacha thanked Mike for being patient with her whether or not she was experiencing mood swings: "Salamat for bearing with my mood swings. Ito mapa-buntis o hindi, gold medalist ka talaga. Never ka pumatol sa mga topak moments ko."

"Salamat dahil lagi mo kaming inuuna ng mga bata. Kami ang priority, second runner up lang silang lahat sa 'yo. We don't know what we would do without you," she added.

The vlogger-radio host concluded, "Nandiyan ka through my worst of times, you've seen me in my least desirable state, and you’re still there. Salamat kasi lagi kang nandiyan. Salamat sa lahat, Mahal. Mahal kita. Mahal ka namin ng mga bata."

Michael also took to Instagram to greet his wife on their anniversary.

After dating for six years, DJ Chacha (Czarina Marie Balba off-air) married businessman Michael Guevarra in 2019. The proposal took place during a birthday trip to Bangkok, and the wedding was held at Fernwood Gardens in Tagaytay.

They have two daughters, Sabinna and Savannah, with a third baby on the way.
