Heart Evangelista Opens Up About Fourth Miscarriage On Mother’s Day

Actress Heart Evangelista shared the sad news of losing another opportunity to have a child on Mother’s Day 2024.

Heart Pens Letter After Losing “4th Angel”

In heartfelt letter posted on her Instagram account, Heart addressed it to her baby she calls “My Son FrancisKo.”

“I was sure to meet you soon,” Heart began, continuing that she even prepared for her son’s arrival. Unfortunately, “for some reason your beating heart lost its way,” the actress revealed.

“I don’t blame you for being scared - it is a scary world but I would like to let you know I was prepared for you.”

Although “heart broken”, Heart filled the letter with hope and gratitude. She wrote, “I will keep my heart intact while you find your way back to us.” Adding her son’s “beating heart has healed me in so many way.”

Heart then proceeded to end on a positive note saying, “I love you anak…I’ll be waiting for you.”

In the caption, Heart went to reveal that the baby’s heart stopped beating just  “a few days ago" and this would be “their 4th angel.”

Despite this, the actress kept the grateful outlook saying to her son, “thank YOU for still for trying to be with me and for making me feel so much love already.”

Heart’s bouts with losing opportunity to have baby

This is the second time this year that the actress revealed losing a child. In March, Heart and husband Senator Chiz Escudero appeared on a talk show to reveal that they had once again lost their chance to be with their first child. The 39-year-old actress shared that at the time she was even set to name the baby “Sophia Heart.”

It was in 2018, that Heart shared her and husband’s first heartache of losing twins. In 2023, the actress opened up more about this miscarriage saying, "I didn't think that I wanted to be a mom, but that's something I'm very thankful for, that even for a brief moment in my life, I realized that I can be a better person. Not necessarily that you have to give birth, not necessarily that you have to physically be a mom but the idea, and what my angels made me feel, is good enough for me."
