Dear Parent-to-be,
First, let me acknowledge your strength, resilience, and courage.
Trying to conceive is a journey that many don’t fully understand unless they’ve walked it themselves—the series of negative pregnancy test results, including the false positives. Your life lately is filled with so many hopes and dreams, of chaos and frustration, as well as moments that can test even the strongest of hearts.
But through it all, you keep going. You're keeping faith.

And that is a beautiful testament to the love you already have for the child you hope to bring into this world. Some days may feel heavy, and the waiting may feel endless. You don't have to pretend it's not heavy. You don’t have to carry this journey in silence or pretend that it doesn’t weigh on your heart. Give yourself permission to lean on those who care about you, whether they’re friends, family, or others who have been on a similar path. Let them be there to listen, to hold space for you, and to remind you that you’re not alone.
You may find yourself thinking about what the future holds, or wondering when your hopes will turn into reality. It’s okay to feel a full range of emotions, to feel both hopeful and tired. It’s okay to ask for support or to share your feelings—there’s so much strength in opening up.
Celebrate yourself, too, even when it’s hard to keep waiting. Every step you take in this journey is filled with courage and perseverance. It’s okay to recognize the incredible effort you’re putting forth and to give yourself compassion along the way. Keeping up with those 'intimate sessions' according to schedule, taking medicines on time, injecting the shots as prescribed—whatever it is you’re doing right now, you are doing your best. Wipe those tears away my dear, and carry on.
