Lovely Abella Is Pregnant Again After 15 Years, 'In God's Perfect Time'

Lovely Abella and Benj Manalo are pregnant with their first child together!

On January 22, the couple announced their pregnancy on Instagram. Lovely shared a video where she woke her sleeping husband to tell him about her pregnancy test result.

She told Benj, "Daddy, alam kong maiinis ka sa akin pero may regalo ako sa'yo." To which a confused Benj replied, "Ano? Buntis ka? Yes! Thank you Lord!"

In the caption, Lovely wrote, "In GOD's Perfect TIME! MIRACLE HAPPENS! Grabe para akong himatayin ng oras na ito, hindi ako makapaniwala bago ko ibigay sa asawa ko."

The 36-year-old mom of one explained, "Napakagandang blessing sa unang buwan ng 2023! After 15 years sa unang anak ko, at after 3 years na tintry namin ng asawa ko, tsaka palang binigay ni Lord."

"Miracle Baby para sa amin knowing na mababa ang Sperm count ng asawa ko, kung kani-kanino na din ako nagtanong para magpaalaga dahil tumatanda na din ako, turning 37 this year, kaya mas takot na ako sa mga imposibleng mangyari sakin," she added.

She acknowledges that their faith as a couple helped them get through this challenge. "Pero iba ang FAITH namin kay LORD lalo na ang asawa ko ang dasal niya palagi na sana mabigyan niya kami ng anak at grabe PRAISE GOD napakaganda ng regalo mo samin."

The actress and business owner asked for prayers for a safe pregnancy and healthy baby, "Waiting na lang po kami sa heartbeat niya. Today siya po ay 5 weeks and 5 days."

She concluded with a message to her followers, "Sa lahat po ng nakakabasa nito, kahit anong hihilingin mo kay LORD ibibigay niya di man agad agad pero ibibigay niya sa perfect time niya kaya wag ka mawalan ng pag asa, lalo mo higpitan ang Faith mo sa kanya dahil sigurado ako na ang pinagdadasal mo ay parating na."

'Mababa po ang sperm count ko'

Meanwhile, Benj, who said he wants to keep things private when it comes to their relationship, couldn't help but announce the good news on his Instagram account as well.

He wrote, "Have Faith in God. 2023, sabi nila swerte ako kasi year of the rabbit ako, pero mas kumapit ako sa promise ni Lord samin. This is the best wedding anniversary gift samin ni Lord! Wohoooo!!!"

The two will be celebrating their second wedding anniversary on January 27, 2023.

He revealed, "Yes, finally, after many years of trying, we are now having a baby. Just to give you a background, mababa po ang sperm count ko and that is one of the reasons kaya hirap kami ng asawa ko. Been battling this issue sa sarili ko for how many months now pero lagi ko kinakausap si Lord. Sabi ko, “Lord alam ko hindi ko na kailngan mag pa freeze para lang makabuo kami. Hindi ko kailngan uminom ng gamot para makabuo kami. Lord alam ko kapag hiniling ko sayo ibibigay mo siya samin in YOUR PERFECT TIME.”

Both Lovely and Benj have a child from their previous relationships. "This time, we will cherish every moment sa new chapter ng buhay namin. Ang anak namin si Crisha and si Nathan magkakakapatid na after how many years and were so blessed to have God beside us."

Finally, he asked for prayers for his wife, "We are asking for your prayers for my wife and our baby na maging healthy ang pregnancy niya."

He added, "If you are losing hope, this is your sign that anything can happen if you believe and trust in the Lord. God bless everyone."
