Raise your hand if you have—at least once—entrusted your toddler or preschooler to Ms. Rachel, just so you could attend a Zoom meeting or finish a chore in peace. A bit of screen time with Songs for Littles won't hurt, right?
YouTube content creator and educator Ms. Rachel—whose real name is Rachel Accurso—is one of the greatest gifts to parents. A mom herself, Ms. Rachel knows and understands the pain points of parents when it comes to speech learning and mindful entertainment, earning her the title, "Beyonce for Toddlers."
Now, parents are rejoicing because our beloved online teacher just launched her own line of toys, which can lessen our kids' screentime and our guilt even more. The best part? Ms. Rachel and her team thoughtfully created each one and made it affordable (starts at $9.99 or Php 562.18) so more kids can have it.

This soft and interactive toy is a perfect gift for little ones. It introduces them to the wonderful world of pretend play and learning, and as the name implies—it's full of sensory surprises! "Bunny can inspire a lot of language. [Bunny can go] up, up, up and down the slide, and Bunny's so dirty she needs to take a bath, and you put Bunny in the bath," Accurso explained. Parents can also create different scenes using the accessories. "So, we're helping the kids imagine that something is multiple things, and just extending the play," she added.
Accurso revealed, on October 1st, this toy will be featured in Songs for Littles episodes on YouTube!
3. Wooden Learning Blocks
What's it for: Communication, cognitive, and motor skills
Who is it for: Children age 18 months to 3 years and up
How much: $29.99
In collaboration with American toy maker Melissa & Doug, Ms. Rachel's team created these embossed wooden blocks and activity cards for a new learning experience.
The set includes 30 wooden blocks, including upper and lowercase letters of the alphabet, numbers, pictures, and colors. But what makes this toy unique is that there are four game blocks that show body parts, animals, emotions, and movements, which Accurso thought of to help teach kids about emotions.

"Some of the blocks you can play a first game with. So you roll the block and then it says to wiggle, and you wiggle. You're getting some gross motor skills," she shared with Parents.
Accurso added, "There's a feeling block, and it's so important that kids can identify their emotions. Identifying them is one of the first steps to being able to regulate them and say what's going on."
