On June 25, the eldest daughter of #TeamKramer turned 13 and officially entered teenager-hood, but it caught no one by surprise because Doug Kramer had already been doing a countdown for this moment for weeks!
Just like Doug, one can't help but reminisce how it seems only yesterday that Clair Kendra Kramer was a chubby, bubbly, and spunky baby that stole the hearts of millions on the Internet. Who can forget little Kendra stealing her mom Chesca's lipstick, wearing heels, and demanding to drink wine?!
These days, Doug shares that Kendra is "more reserved" but her "witty punchlines and charisma remains." On the Team Kramer YouTube channel, Kendra has been taking over the vlog with ease. In an episode dedicated to her bedroom transformation, she gave viewers a peek into her very own walk-in closet and a closer look at what informs her style.
If you're looking for inspiration on how to shop for your own teenagers, here's what this "home schooled baby" that is "God-fearing, respectful, and loving" has in her wardrobe -- and where to shop to recreate the look!
Kendra's Looks And How To Recreate Them
1. White Ensembles

For more casual looks like going to the mall, Kendra has dressed in voluminous lace aesthetics that she sharpens with clean fits on trousers. The young stylista knows a thing or two about wearing heels and pointed boots, admitting it takes "tiis ganda."

It's still not recommended to get these made-to-order designs off the rack as a teen girl's developing body can undergo changes within months.
Go for a light and airy bohemian styles that focus on texture and flow. Shop these: Open-knit cardigan from Zara (P1,595), rainbox skirt from Chloe and Amelie (P11,000 plus international shipping), Tahoe dresss from Plains & Prints (P2,398), or something similar.
2. So Vintage
In the Casa Kramer room transformation episode of Kendra, she reveals a drool-worthy part of any young woman's bedroom: a walk-in closet! Inside, there are shelves and hangers for clothes, shoes, and bags.
Much of the denim she owns, she narrates, are hand-me-downs from her mom. Not just that, she pulled out her top two favorite bags, one of which is a vintage Gucci shoulder bag. Chesca adds that this is special because she was traveling for work to Thailand when she afforded to buy it back when she was 17 years old, and now she is able to pass it on to her daughter.
Kendra adds, "I think it can go with any outfit."

Denim doesn't go out of style. These are essential to anybody's closet and, if you love them enough, they can definitely be used over years and years.

While we're on the topic of vintage, you'll need Levi's shaping jeans (P3,449.50). This classic hip-hugging comfortable pair is as versatile as it is durable, and it can definitely be something that your teenager can grow into.
For bags, it doesn't need to be designer, but how about grabbing a leather clutch that will teach your teenager how to care for a bag? Her World has one piece of advice to start with: keep the dust bag and store your leather pouch in a cool, dry place when you're not using it.

How chic Kendra looks in these Kenzo stripes, culottes, and knee-high pointy boots betrays the memory that many moms might have of 90s fashion. Wasn't this the same decade as elephant pants, tube tops, and pigtails?

Kids these days are all about knits, crochets, and stitches. They call it "thrift" aesthetic and have a thing for sustainable fashion.
When shopping for your daughter, explore vests and wide trousers. If you can find something in neon or metallic, it will give it a nice retro touch that will let them live out their perception of that fashion era.

4. Equestrian Chic
Traditional, timeless, and iconic. Equestrian fashion isn't so much making a comeback as it has never gone out of style. It may not be as popular in the Philippines because of the weather, but Kendra pulls it off quite well when she's traveling.

If coats and tweed are too hot, explore sleeveless turtle neck tops with a cropped blazer on.

5. Schoolgirl Fashion
Yes, schoolgirl fashion is about flared skirts that nip at the waistline, but Kendra gives this trend her own twist with a more laidback look.

Underneath the sweater, your teenager might want to pay attention to some details. Here's a peg from Terranova.
Bonus: Here's Chesca nailing the schoolgirl look. Kendra obviously gets it from her momma.

For Valentine's Day, Team Kramer packed their bags (and resortwear) for a family trip to Boracay. Here, Kendra donned a breezy linen ensemble that could have easily been a day-to-night outfit.

Linen is a natural fabric that is highly absorbent and breathable. This makes it perfect for the beach, or even a day out at the park.

Besides all the glitz and glamor that being the daughter of celebrity parents can bring, Kendra is just a regular, grounded, and humble teenager. In the same video where she tours viewers around her bedroom and walk-in closet, she showed her toy collection and hobby wall.
In the background, her dad asked her, "[Do you like] bags or toys?"
Kendra was clearly torn. A moment later, she answered, "Toys. I really like my toys."
Recreate The Look:
Don't forget your teenagers can also still be little girls. They are steadily becoming young ladies before our eyes, but they definitely still have that innocence and joy of childhood -- and they'll have it for as long as they feel safe to have it.
