Mama, Mommy, Inay, Nanay, Ma—just the sound of these instantly comforts our hearts. When we’re feeling down, we long for “Mama,” no matter how old we get.
Babies and kids know this from the get-go; they call “Mommy” for everything— when they’re hungry, they want to play, they’re upset or happy, or when they just need their mom’s touch.
This Mother’s Day, let’s honor every Mama, Mommy, Inay, Nanay, and Ma in our lives. Those who bring comfort in our hearts with their mere presence. Those whose love will always be whole and unconditional. A simple “I love you” will do the trick; moms will cherish it!
