Every woman has her moment of vulnerability when she becomes a mom, and just because one is royalty does not exempt her from the challenges of motherhood. Take the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markleas an example.
In an interview with ITV News, she admitted she has faced struggles as a new parent. “Look, any woman, especially when they're pregnant — you're really vulnerable, So that was made really challenging. And then, when you have a newborn, you know?”
“And especially as a woman, it’s really a lot. So, you add this on top just trying to be a new mom or tying to be a newlywed,” she added.
Before delivering her son, Archie, five months ago, Meghan faced many responsibilities and heightened expectations upon marryingPrince Harry. She told the interviewer she appreciated that he asked how she was doing.
“Also thank you for asking, because not many people have asked if I’m okay but it’s a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes.”

Meghan’s honesty — “It’s okay to not be okay” — gained support and gave encouragement to mothers around the globe.
“It is really very overwhelming; emotions run high especially when you are in this first part of your journey as a mum with a #newborn.”
