After spending more than two months under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ), Filipinos are slowly transitioning into the “new normal” a.k.a. general community quarantine (GCQ). More industries have resumed operations, people are going back to work, and shopping centers have reopened, including mall-based stores and restaurants.

But while it might be tempting to leave home and check the situation outside, is it worth risking your health? Keep in mind that there is still no vaccine for COVID-19 and the best way to keep yourself safe is to limit your interaction with the public.

Robinsons Malls now offers personal shopper, drive-through services, and pickup stations

If you do need to go out for essential errands, malls have come out with precautionary measures to ensure shoppers’ safety. Robinsons Malls has three new programs in place: RPersonal Shopper, RDelivery, and Robinsons PickUp Stations.

    RPersonal Shopper

Instead of going to malls to shop, you can book a personal shopper who will choose the items for you and deliver it to your home, under Robinsons Mall’s new program, RPersonal Shopper in partnership with the MyKuya app.

    How it works

Download the MyKuya app, register it on your phone, and click on the Robinsons Malls logo. You will automatically be matched with an “Ate,” or “Kuya,” who can accomplish your desired transactions, like purchasing food from your favorite restaurants or groceries, or shopping for items from open shops.

For your peace of mind, you can track RPersonal Shoppers from the app in real time. The service is available Mondays to Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for Cash on Delivery and up to 5 p.m. for online payment. Maximum orders per delivery is capped at Php3,000.

    Payment method

For transactions up to Php1,000, the Kuya or Ate can pay for the items first. Customers can pay them back once the items are delivered. They can also pick up the payment from you en route to the mall or you can send your shopping money via GCash before they purchase the items you need.
