Richard Gutierrez, Sarah Lahbati Get Alone Time In London 'To Keep The Flame Burning'

  • Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati recently flew to London sans their two sons Zion, 9, and Kai, 4.

    The celebrity couple shared some snaps of them touring around the capital city of England and the United Kindom via joint posts in their respective Instagram accounts.

    In their first post, showing a black-and-white portrait of them walking down the street, Richard wrote the caption.

    "Finally some alone time with you in a beautiful city we’ve never been to before," said the lead star of ABS-CBN's action drama series The Iron Heart.

    He then explained, "As busy parents, we’ve promised ourselves to always make alone time for each other, either through taking trips, exploring new places or just going on date nights to continuously rediscover each other."

    He added this marriage tip, "We figured out that getting lost together is as important as growing together. Keep the flame burning."

    In another post, the couple shared a few photos from their trip to a museum, restaurant, and market. There's no caption, but Sarah wrote in the comments section: "Home is whereve I am with you."

    A love story, so far

    Richard and Sarah fell in love on the set of his 2012 TV starrer Makapiling Kang Muli which was aired on GMA-7. (Read here) He announced in October that year that they were an item.

    By January 2013, Sarah was reported to be having issues with her home network GMA-7. She then flew to Switzerland, where she was born to a Lebanese-Swiss father and a Filipino mother. She was supposed to resume her studies.

    In 2014, Richard confirmed rumors of Sarah giving birth to their first child in Switzerland. They then started living together in the Philippines, and had their second child in 2018.

    Richard and Sarah got married in an intimate ceremony on March 14, 2020 (read here), foregoing the big wedding they had planned because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
