Several weeks before Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna would celebrate their first wedding anniversary on November 11, 2022, the actor surprised his actress-wife with a brand new sky blue Bentley.
"Advanced happy anniversary to the love of my life," wrote Derek in the caption of his Instagram post in early September 2022. "Thank you for giving me so much love. I've really found true happiness. I love you so much!!!! So so much!!"
Ellen acknowledged her husband's sweet gesture by reacting in the comments section: "I like it but you know my love language is physical touch and quality time soooo your hugs and kisses are myyyyy number 1. I love youuuuuu."
She added, teasingly, "I know ull Enjoy driving my car nyahahhahahahahahahahahahahah!"
Derek, a known car lover and collector, replied, also in the comments section: "All I want are your hugs and kisses. Sorry but I'll enjoy being the passenger this time."

In Derek's post, there are two short videos. The first was shot during his unveiling of his gift to Ellen, and second showing Ellen test-driving her luxury ride.
In the first video, Ellen tells her son Elias, "That's my car." But she points out to Derek, "I don't drive."
Derek then clarifies, "Well, you do drive. You just choose not to."
In the second video, Derek asks Ellen, who's driving his early wedding-anniversary gift, "Do you like it?"
Ellen responds, picking up from their previous banter, "Yeah, but you're the one driving."
Derek quips, "I'm not driving this car this color."
Ellen insists, "I need a driver more than a car." She continues to drive, anyway, with Derek and Elias as her willing passengers.
Wedding anniversary gift ideas
Traditionally, the preferred gift to celebrate a couple's first anniversary is paper and, then, clock in the modern times.
Here are a few ideas if you want to follow tradition:
